The LifeSavers program for women with crisis pregnancies who live in extreme poverty provides them with monthly material support - food, baby food, baby items, diapers and clothes - for the first 18 months of the child's life. These women are being helped with basic needs for themselves, their new baby, and their other children, if needed. We understand that having another mouth to feed can often tip the balance toward abortion. We want to do everything we can to help her rejoice in her choice of life for her child. Additional opportunities for fellowship and community include MTU Bible studies, crafts and quilting lessons. These times create openings for sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Christian fellowship and learning new practical skills. Our ultimate goal is to show these women the love of God.
